Caustic Blood's Vacaguanré! on Sale Now

“Vacaguanré!” is a tribute to the Guanches people of the Canary Islands. According to Wikipedia “Guanches (also: Guanchis or Guanchetos) are the aboriginal inhabitants of the Canary Islands. It is believed that they migrated to the archipelago around 1000 BC or perhaps earlier. While it is generally considered that the Guanches no longer exist as a distinct ethnicity,[1] traces of their culture can still be found intermixed within Canarian customs and traditions, such as Silbo, the whistled language of La Gomera Island. The Guanches were the only native people known to have lived in the Macaronesian region before the arrival of Europeans, as there is no evidence that the Azores, Cape Verde, Madeira and the Savage Islands were inhabited before that time. “

Caustic Blood's “Vacaguanré!” explores the history of the Guanches aurally while also touching on themes of circular time. The titles of the pieces in this overall work are in the Guanche language and the listener is not given a translation of what these words means. Exploring what there meanings are is a part of the experience of this work.

If you like the music of Stockhausen, Cage, Edgard Victor Achille Charles Varèse, Vladimir Alexeevich Ussachevsky then you will like this work as well.

Tea Cup of Our Dreams

Tea Cup of Our Dreams is a collection of pieces by Mark Gordon Brown. Although these pieces were not composed to work as a cohesive unit they have been arranged in this album to work as one. Conflict Resolution Conflict Resolution. When a listener listens to music without these elements with these elements in the music it affects them more positively than simply listening to songs or pieces of music that are simply static, conflict, or resolution.

The pieces in this work vary a bit in nature. Some are Micro-tonal and 3D Spatial Imaging that can be heard with or without headphones. One piece (track) on the CD version uses extended silence. This is a part of the composition and timing of the overall work. That bit of silence is not on the download version for reasons that it would be out of context if downloaded separately from the rest of the works.

Shepard of Hermas Gnostic Silent Subliminal Tonal Meditation

The Shepard of Hermas was an early Christian Manuscript that some link to Gnostic sources and others to Pagan Sources. In The Shepard of Hermas Gnostic Silent Subliminal Tonal Meditation this work has been embedded subliminally under the music and brainwave entrainment tones. This is the first work in the Five Spiders Media Subliminals Gnostic Silent Subliminal Tonal Meditation series.

The complete text of The Shepard of Hermas is layered over and over again using both silent and regular subliminals then embedded under the music and tones. Also embedded are reversed subliminals which are also multi-layered. The Isochronic tones are on a 2hz to 40hz ramp using an alternating pattern. The music is very intense and is a micro-tonal dark ambient piece called Nyctophilia (meaning love of night time or physical dark places) by Tracing Archaic Names.

This work is one of the most intense in the Five Spiders Media Subliminals Esoteric line to date. It is as stated before the first in the new Gnostic series of our Esoteric Subliminal line. It can be listened to with or without headphones, but it is suggested to listen to this work in a dark room with a single white candle flickering patterns on the wall. The goal of this work is to provide a genuine Gnostic understanding of The Shepard of Hermas from within the listener and as such it requires effort on their part when listening to the work.

Caustic Blood's Confusion in The Heartland On Sale Now

When composer Mark Gordon Brown first conceived of this work in The Caustic Blood project then intention was to create a sort of industrial Opera (in the common, non-Latin, sense of the term Opera). This Opera would be performed with dancers and actors lip-syncing to work played via recording. Still hopeful some group will take on this task and can do so free form and royalty free with credit and with a video filmed and given to the composer. There is also extensive use of musique concrète in this work. All samples used are in the public domain and thus used under fair use laws.

As for the inspiration for this work. It is derived from the composer's childhood in The United States in the 1960s and 1970s which was a time of great change and turmoil. This was a time when it really was not understand who news casts and such affected children and as such many children had a constant soundtrack in the background of this change and turmoil. This work is a sister piece to Caustic Blood's Dreams of America.

Chebar by Another Tuesday Dream

Another Tuesday Dream's Chebar is based on Merkavah and Hekhalot Mysticism and other similar “Ascent” and “Descent” mystical practices around the world. The musical pieces are dark ambient with rays of hope in light within them to reflect the current condition of the seeker as they explore the different levels of consciousness. The music is also Micro-tonal and has subtle uses of 3D spatial imaging as well. The track names act as a sort of Koan that the listener is to meditate on to find meaning within their sub-conscious and super-conscious minds.

The Tracks include
1 Six Wings Rather Than Four
2 Descent to The Chariot
3 Three Calendars Running Simultaneously

A Prophet in His Own Land by Mark Gordon Brown A432 Version

This is the A432 Tuning Version of A Prophet in His Own Land by Mark Gordon Brown

Based on a vision Mark Gordon Brown had while meditating, this experimental classical work has elements of Indian Mysticism and Hermeticism.

The main title piece of this work is not meant to be arrogant or egotistical. It is a reference to the difficulty that one faces when they have such visionary experiences and how their friends and family treat them if they share these experiences with them. Actually “A prophet in his own land” is in reference to a number of verses in Torah and in The Christian New Testament.

This work is about the fear that anyone who is given a visionary message faces in sharing this message with friends and family and how often friends and family are the first to reject the visionary message the “prophet” is ask to pass along. Prophets can be composers, writers, artists, or philosophers. Others will accept their message of importance to the world at times easier than friends or family.

These are the two meaning behind this work. How the message of what Mark Gordon Brown was suppose to do with music and art to fix the distortion that is this reality and how that message was and is received by some of his friends and family in a negative way when others hearing or seeing get the message on a subconscious, super-conscious, or conscious level.
